Six County Association of Governments (SCAOG) is accepting applications for a part-time program manager (manager) to join our Aging Services team. The manager will work with seniors to provide Medicare insurance information, fraud prevention, and community outreach to develop caregiver support groups.

The manager will work with the Senior Health Insurance Information Program and the Senior Medicare Patrol program. The manager will assist seniors with Medicare information to help them choose Medicare Part D plans and works with volunteers to provide senior fraud prevention training at senior centers and other locations. The manager will facilitate caregiver support groups across the SCAOG region making presentations at senior centers and other senior events. This could include providing support information by social media or other means to reach out to rural caregivers not able to participate.

Applicants must be self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision. Must have good organizational skills and the ability to communicate and work well with the aging population. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and computer experience is required. Applicant must have the ability to speak and present to large groups, and be creative in presenting information.

Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel throughout the SCAOG region which includes Juab, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, and Wayne counties.
