The R6 Regional Council (formerly known as Six County Association of Governments) is accepting applications for a full-time Economic Development Coordinator. This position will provide short-term and long-term economic development planning and coordination throughout the R6 region. They will implement economic recovery and resilience plans and help identify economic development grant-eligible projects to be funded with state and federal funding opportunities.
The position will provide technical assistance and capacity building for member organizations, local businesses, and other local stakeholders.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field with two (2) years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The starting wage will be $24 to $30 per hour depending on experience and education and includes a full benefits package. The benefits package includes health and dental insurance, 401k, state retirement, and paid time off.
