Mobility Management

Transportation Planning

Mobility Management in the region is a new program funded by the Federal Transportation Administration and sub-granted by the Utah Department of Transportation Public Transit Team. The purpose of this program is to improve the mobility of persons with limited transportation options, especially those with disabilities, persons over 65 years of age, and those who earn a low income.

Mobility management facilitates coordination between public service transportation providers. The program also facilitates FTA 5310, 5311, 5317, 5318 funding programs for these agencies.

Every year SCAOG creates a Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan. These plans are designed to analyze the mobility issues of the region and plan projects for area agencies working with transportation.
