Weatherization Assistance Program

The Weatherization Assistance Program helps low income individuals and families reduce energy costs and increase comfort and safety in their homes.  This program helps reduce energy cost by repairing, replacing, or upgrading the things in your home that cost the most energy.  Participating households average nearly 33% in savings after the completion of weatherization improvements.  For more information please call 435-893-0742.


How to apply:


Step 1:  In order to qualify for the Weatherization Assistance Program you must have qualified through the HEAT program within the last year.  Please call your local HEAT office and schedule an appointment if you have not already done so.

Step 2: Complete the Weatherization application — click here to download it — and submit it to:

Step 3: Just wait.  Your name will be put on the list for Weatherization.  It may take up to two (2) years for your home to be weatherized.
